I offer a limited 5 year warranty. Instrument are covered 100% for manufacturer/craftsmanship related defects. This will be determined by me after visually inspecting the instrument. This applies to the first purchaser. The warranty is non transferable.

The warranty does not provide coverage for:

  • Normal fret/fingerboard wear.
  • Damage to the finish or instrument as a result of improper climate control or other improper care.
  • Damages due to misuse or neglect.
  • Modifications void the warranty.
  • Normal wear on finishes.
  • Normal bellying of the soundboard/bridge from string pressure.

Storage, humidity, cracking and the warranty.
Damage resulting from exposure to extreme temperatures, un-ideal humidity, acts of nature, dry climates, or salt air climates. Failure to use a humidifier on solid-wood ukuleles, guitars and other acoustic instruments will void your warranty if any cracking occurs. Warranty claims may not be considered if a quality, working, maintained humidifier is not used with your instrument while it is stored in its case or bag. When the instrument is not in its case or bag for more than two days store your instrument in a room with a relative humidity of 40-60%.

The French Polish.
A french polish finish will last many years. But like all finishes it’s prone to certain weakness.

It’s normal for a french polish to dull  over time. A quick repolishing, by a local luthiery can bring the shine back.

Alcohol, some skin lotions, hand sanitizers and other chemical solutions that come in contact with the finish can ruin a french polish finish and these damages are not covered by the warranty. For care, wipe your ukulele/guitar off with a soft cloth to get the sweat and body oil off of it everytime after you play. Don’t use any abrasives, strong cleaning products or try to re French polish your finish. Take it to a professional.

If something happens email me and we’ll make arrangements for repair.

Customer is responsible for all shipping charges.

Thanks!
